Divita Bhandari is an engineer and researcher with experience in electric power systems modeling and planning. Before joining REsurety, Divita worked as a consultant at Synapse Energy Economics providing research, analysis and expert witness services on a wide range of electric sector issues. She has expertise in electric dispatch modeling in support of topics related to utility resource planning, impact of environmental policy initiatives and valuation of distributed energy resources. Prior to Synapse, she worked at DNV GL evaluating the impacts of energy efficiency and demand response programs. At REsurety, Divita is responsible for expanding power price modeling and analytics capabilities within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region.

Divita holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management from Yale University and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
